Photo Above : Terra Naomi Received a really nice email from Terra (above) saying how fantastic my photo's are of her and thanks. Makes you feel good about your self and what your doing, all the work you put in, the sleepless nights thinking about an important shoot etc... Yes I am a worrier (warrier). Just received a Casio watch I had when I was in my early teens, I noticed it was back on the market yesterday so had to order it. It feels so good on my wrist, you can't beat that in a watch. Tomorrow i'm at Manchester Apollo with Keane, so i'll be posting tomorrow's on Thursday. Currently listening to : Loud as Fuck, Motley Crue

Fray

Photographed The Fray tonight, I was, for a change (in fact the first time), the only photographer at this gig, so enjoyed the pit to myself immensely. Terra Naomi supported and I enjoyed her set, you can see photo's of her and The Fray on my web site. It was nice to bump into Sarah at the gig, she's a great laugh and I stayed to watch some of the gig with her. Travelled home and uploaded the photo's as usual, which disappointed me a little. It's difficult to shoot piano players well. Infact, the more 'static' the performer, the harder the shoot will be. Me likes a lorra movement!

Photo Above : Editors, Copyright Dean Sherwood 2007 Spent most of the day sorting out my calendar for the rest of 2007. I’m going to have a rest soon I think, I can feel myself burning out. Drove to Sheffield and parked up ready for Editors tonight. Had to pay £5 on the door as requested by the band for the Oxjam appeal; didn’t mind too much, but would prefer the option. Especially seeing as i’m doing work for charities as it is. Kissaway Trail were first, they were good, then Canadian outfit Ra Ra Riot… who I pretty much hated. Marmite Music I think. Editors came on at 9:30pm and it’s the first time i’ve seen grown women crowd surfing. The lighting was pretty good, and I got some good shots of Tom, who, by the way, has a great voice.

Was called by Claire and management of The Twang to see if i’d shoot the boys again tonight, this time in Leeds. “We like your work, come back.” Ok, cool. Whilst driving along realised how gorgeous Autumn nights can be.

I’m just racing around today doing a load of promo and sorting things out for the release on the 29th and looked at the cover and was so chuffed with the job you did on it I just wanted to stop a take a little time to thank you my friend. It's Mee Birffday Started the day off with Mum calling me and telling me my stars read '..For the first time in 28 years Saturn meets your star sign..' I'm 28 today :-\ Went into town to get a full english down me. Proppa cafe stylee.. then to get a link taken out of my new 'bling' bracelet Jade got me. Nice. I asked for jewelry; i got jewelry. Then onto the station to start my 6 hour first class journey to Cardiff. Whilst on ze-train i doodled some ideas down for promo shoots and got off at the wrong stop. 'Excuse me buddy, do I get a change to Bristol from here?' 'No mate, get back on, NO virgins stop here.' 'Errr' Once aboard the 'Virgin' I picked up my complimentaries : tea water orange juice biscuits kit-kat tuc biscuits dried fruit bag sultanna and cherry cake On my way back to my seat I managed to pick up a daily star which was sat lonely at a table, only to then look up and notice the 'owner' had just nipped to the loo; he looked round, i smiled, he didn't notice I was the thief! I also noted how I would never travel standard class. Standard class to some unlucky sole's on this train meant sitting in-between doors or stood next to a not to pleasant smelling toilet. Eventually I got to Cardiff and was collected and taken to the Castle where the festival was at. I firstly bumped into Faye from Steps (who is playing Eva Cassidy in a Musical) and then found Simon and Lee from the band i'm shooting for a few mag's. Got finished around 10ish after sharing some quality time Lee and Faye (from Steps yes) and Lee drove us back to his where i'm in comfort for the night before a train journey home via the BIG City. It's 110am and i'm uploading photo's to be backed up. Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me...

[Hi]lton This is me at the Hilton, Shephards Bush. Meeting time. I'm going to be at the festival in Cardiff this weekend working on behalf of The Pink Paper, Fyne Times and 360 magazine. It's a six hour journey from GY to Cardiff, softened slightly by going first class. My expenses for August were major high. I need to spend some time sending invoices out etc... Though soon this will be someone elses job. I have employed a part time PA/First Assistant, Ashleigh Dewhurst. She has a driving test today, will update more here later. Long day ahead innit :|
